SCHOOL TOURS Program Overview

The Show Them Project: Real Talk, Real Change

The Show Them Project is all about sharing one simple, powerful truth: addiction and mental health struggles don’t discriminate. They can affect anyone, no matter their background, their success, or their dreams. That’s why we go straight to the source—the young people in schools across the UK

Through candid, personal talks, Mark Bragg shares his lived experience of addiction, mental health struggles, and the road to recovery. His aim? To challenge young people to think critically about their own choices and the consequences those choices may have.

What We Do: The Show Them Project offers engaging, honest, and thought-provoking presentations designed to open up conversation around difficult topics like addiction, mental health, and self-worth. Our goal is not to lecture or shame—it’s to provide real stories and real talk. Here’s what students can expect from a school visit:

  • Real-Life Story: Mark shares his personal journey—how addiction took everything he loved the most in life from him and almost cost him his life.
  • Interactive Discussions: Students are encouraged to ask questions, share their thoughts, and engage in open, honest discussions.
  • Prevention and Resilience: Mark doesn’t just talk about the struggles; he talks about how he found strength and recovery, providing hope and practical advice for dealing with life’s challenges.
  • Inspiring Change: The goal of each talk is to inspire young people to think about the choices they make and how they can take control of their future.

The Show Them Project is a national school awareness initiative dedicated to early prevention through powerful, lived-experience storytelling. Founded by Mark Bragg, the project takes an unfiltered, deeply personal approach to drug, alcohol, and mental health education.

Through honest, interactive sessions, Mark shares his own journey—from a successful career in the security industry, working alongside world-famous musicians and athletes, to the devastating realities of addiction, mental illness, and homelessness.

The goal is simple: to change lives through truth. Students aren’t given statistics or lectures—they’re given real insight into how small choices can shape an entire life.

The Show Them Project isn’t about shame or fear—it’s about empathy, awareness, and empowerment.

By connecting directly with young people in schools across the UK, we start conversations that can save lives.
